Self-distribution

autodistribuzione

Vite al Centro” started as a completely self-produced documentary, through a campaign of popular co-production on the portal of Produzioni dal Basso and registered with a Creative Commons 4.0 non commercial licence.
The very nature of the project brought us to choose a strategy of self-distribution of the documentary, in Italy and Europe, through public showings in cultural circles, theatres and social and cultural centres.
This strategy, used in all SMK Videofactory video productions, entails for every public showing of the film:
1- Reimbursement of travel expenses for the authors and the possibility of a night stay if necessary;
2- The possibility of setting up an info table with SMK Videofactory material and distributing copies of the documentary during the showing.
Furthermore, we ask you to contribute to the project. Although the nature of this support is voluntary, it is important to underline that for self-produced documentaries even a small contribution can make the difference, allowing us cover the production costs of the work, and to launch an efficient campaign to publicize the documentary.
Contributing to the project entails a donation in Euros which corresponds to a number of copies of the documentary, which you can distribute for free or with a cost of at most 10 Euros per copy (the profit of which remains with you).
